1st Annual “Save the Humans” Research Grant Competition Winner Announced

The School of Social Work is pleased to congratulate Kaitlin Pegoda as its first recipient of the “Save the Humans” research grant competition! This competition was developed in collaboration by the ACU School of Social Work, Pursuit, and the Office for Undergraduate Research. This program creates an opportunity for undergraduate students to conduct, present, and publish funded research in an area of social work practice, policy, or education.

Kaitlin’s research will be conducted under the supervision of Dr. Stephen Baldridge. Kaitlin has chosen to do her research on “Biospsychosocial Factors Associated with Emotional Resiliency in Children Between the Ages of 9 and 18 Currently Undergoing Cancer Treatments.”
