BSSW Curriculum

While in the BSSW Program at ACU, students take courses in five content areas:

  1. Human Behavior in the Social Environment
  2. Social Welfare Policy and Services
  3. Social Research
  4. Social Work Practice
  5. Field Education

Students are taught the values of the profession and professional practice as articulated in social work Codes of Ethics while in the undergraduate program, as well as how to embrace and celebrate human diversity, further principles of social and economic justice, and serve populations who are at risk.
