Lori Francis ('85) | Information Technology & Computing
Director of business operations for the
Global Technology and Architecture
group (GTA) at PepsiCo
As the director of business operations for the Global Technology and Architecture group (GTA) at PepsiCo, Lori is not foreign to success nor hard work in the workplace. She is responsible for the asset management of $30 million of PepsiCo IT equipment, program management of $40 million of IT projects, and chief of staff for the more than 500-member GTA organization.
"Ninety-nine percent of my day is ensuring successful implementations of IT solutions by driving compliance to our IT governance processes through strong program, asset and people management practices," Francis says.
Francis says that the educational foundation provided by ACU is rooted in Christian faith, family environment and professors who care. "I received a good, solid education at ACU where they made you feel you could do whatever you wanted and be successful," she says.
As a mother of three, Francis believes her children would receive the kind of education at ACU required to succeed in the professional world. She notes that ACU helped build the foundation for her successful career, as well for her later work on an MBA at Southern Methodist University in organizational behavior.
