"So many people need someone to believe in them. ACU cares about its students." Higgins deeply appreciates how his professors treated him as a person, not a number

Bryan Higgins, a 2004 computer science graduate, is working as a systems analyst for PepsiCo Business Solutions Group in Plano, Texas. He helps provide baseline technical support for 1,300 users of an in-house Windows XP application, and the trouble-shooting and testing of in-house software. After two years of working for PepsiCo, Higgins has greatly increased his responsibilities and workload within the company.

Integrity and truth are two values Higgins learned at ACU, preparing him for the corporate world.  "As a believer in Christ, I have found that work is not everything," he says. "We were designed to do more than work. In the corporate world, I have realized how important my faith is." Higgins deeply appreciates how his professors in the College of Business Administration treated him as a person, not a number. "So many people need someone to believe in them.  ACU cares about its students," Higgins says.

"It's really awesome to finally see all of the vision and groundwork that I was a part of for information technology and computing finally come to fruition,” Higgins says. "Combining the strength of COBA with the foundation of the iSchool will give students an advantage and well-rounded education."
