Student Employment Opportunities

There are many opportunities, both on-campus and off-campus, for students seeking part-time or full-time employment in computer-related fields. These range from data entry positions to more complex software development and software testing jobs. As an example, Team 55, the University’s computer support organization, has a number of positions that are filled by students enrolled at the University. You should contact the Human Resources Office for information about how to apply for student employment.

There are also many teaching and research assistant positions available in the School of Information Technology and Computing. Contact a professor in the SITC or Raymond Pettit for more information.

In addition, many local companies regularly seek computer-related help from qualified students. These kinds of job postings may also be found in the Human Resources Office. For more information on available jobs for students, and for resources for job-seekers, visit the ACU Career Center, as well as the COBA Connections Office in the College of Business Administration.
