All students are strongly encouraged to participate in an internship before they graduate. Internships are a good way to learn new skills in real-life job situations, test you interest in your career choice, and tell prospective employers that you are ready and willing to work.
Many internships are available at local and regional companies. Some internships are paid, while others are available on a volunteer basis. In addition, while most students choose to participate in internships during the summer months, some computer-related opportunities require a longer investment of time in order to satisfy the needs of the sponsor. If you are interested in securing an internship, contact the COBA Connections Office.
