they have met the prerequisites, provided they:
- Have completed their junior year of high school.
- Are in the upper 50 percent of their class.
- Have an average of 85 on high school work completed
to date.
- Submit a letter of permission and recommendation from
the high school counselor or principal.

Complete the following steps to register:
- Complete a "Special Student Application" (available
in Admissions and the Registrar's office) and attach your
official high school transcript and letter of
permission.

Center in Zellner Hall) for approval to register.
- Upon approval to register, Admissions will contact
the Registrar's office to enroll you in the course.
High School Graduates or GED
Students who have completed high school or their GED and
are not seeking a college degree do not have to go through
the regular matriculation process to be allowed to register
for summer classes. ACU assumes that these students know
what courses they want and are qualified to take. If they
wish to speak with an adviser, they should consult the
advising contact list on page 10. Those students who later
decide to continue their work at ACU will be expected to
apply at that time for admission, as specified in the
current Undergraduate/Graduate Catalog.
Register by completing a "Special Student Application" in
the Registrar's office (AD 207). You must provide a copy of
your official high school transcript or GED certificate.
Intercollegiate Students
ACU students may apply for approval to enroll in courses
at Hardin-Simmons University (HSU) or McMurry University and
count them toward an ACU degree.
To do this:
HSU and McMurry students should complete the following
steps to enroll in courses at ACU to count toward their
degrees at HSU and McMurry:
Grades and financial charges will be mailed to HSU or
McMurry. Questions about registration should be directed to
the ACU Registrar's office at 915-674-2545.
