Access World News Research Collection (Newsbank)*Access World News Research Collection provides extensive news coverage of local, state, regional, national and international news sources. This fully searchable Web-based resource features the vast majority of the top U.S. newspapers by circulation, along with hundreds of hard-to-find local and regional titles, most of which are unavailable elsewhere. Additionally, Access World News Research Collection offers thousands of international news sources from scores of countries on six continents, translated into English when written in other languages. This also provides news coming from domestic and international news sources including TV News transcripts, video, Web-only news, Magazines, Journals and Military, Genealogy and Business news.

Alternative Health Watch*This alternative health database provides full text for 180 publications in the collection, including many peer-reviewed journals. Provides in-depth coverage across many subject areas covered by complementary and alternative medicine dating back to 1990.
American Chemical Society Publications (ACS)*The Publications Division of the American Chemical Society provides the worldwide scientific community with a comprehensive collection of the most cited peer-reviewed journals in the chemical and related sciences. ACS Publications offers 35 prestigious journals in addition to its weekly newsmagazine covering the chemical enterprise, Chemical & Engineering News. Astrophysics Data System An abstract service provided by NASA in the areas of Astrophysics, Planetary Sciences, and Solar Physics.

Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities*Access to Cabell's for Accounting, Economics and Finance. Provides current journal publisher information for researchers wishing to publish manuscripts in their field. Cambridge Histories Online*Contains over 250 volumes published since 1960, equating to around 196,000 pages of unrivalled scholarship that covers over 15 different academic subjects with Citation export functionality.
CANCERLIT Search for citations or abstracts on cancer related articles from journals, proceedings, books, reports, and doctoral theses. Provided by the National Cancer Institute's International Cancer Information Center.

Choice Reviews Online*CHOICE reviews significant current books and electronic resources of interest to those in higher education. Each year CHOICE publishes more than 6,500 reviews by subject experts. Access is ful text to the entire database of CHOICE reviews published since September 1988.
CINAHL with Full Text*Provides indexing for 1,835 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health. Cite Your Resource Explains how to cite resources using different citation formats including Chicago, AMA, APA, MLA and Turabian giving a few examples for each.
Civil War Era Database*Includes the full-text of newspapers and pamphlets from the Pre-Civil War era. One of the newspapers included is the New Orleans Times Daily Picayune from 1840-1865. Homeland Security Digital Database*Provides quick access to the full text of important U.S. policy documents, presidential directives, and national strategy documents as well as specialized resources such as theses and reports from various universities, organizations and local and state agencies. The resources are reviewed and selected by a team of homeland security researchers and organized in a unique homeland security taxonomy.
In The First Person  Provides in-depth indexing of more than 2,500 collections of oral history in English from around the world. With future releases, the index will broaden to identify other first-person content, including letters, diaries, memoirs, and autobiographies, and other personal narratives.
Information Science & Technology Abstracts (ISTA)*Leading database in the areas of information science. Ingenta (Formally Carl Uncover)  Citations to articles and tables of contents for 17,000 multidiscplinary journals. Ordering information provided. ACU subscribes to some journals with Ingenta.
Inter-Play (A Play Index) Provides easy access to the locations of printed plays in collections, anthologies and periodicals. The call numbers listed are Library of Congress classifications, while ACU uses Dewey classifications. We may or may not own all the titles in this index, so you can look up the collection, anthology or periodical by title in ALCON to find the call number for ACU.
Internet and Personal Computing Abstracts*Formerly Microcomputer Abstracts. Provides abstracts and indexing for literature related to personal computing products and developments in business, the Internet, the home, and all other applied areas. Over 400 of the most important trade publications, mainstream computer magazines, and professional journals are covered, including those that focus on specific topics such as Macintosh and Windows platforms, programming, web development and more.

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA)*A free full text database from EBSCO that currently indexes more than 600 publications including books, research reports and proceedings. Library of Texas A service offered by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission allows users of public, academic, and clinical medicine libraries to easily discover and retrieve desired information from multiple library catalogs, databases, and other knowledge collections without having to use each individual library's interface. At present, the Library of Texas searches through the catalogs of 76 public libraries, 52 academic libraries, 4 unique libraries, and 17 TexShare commercial databases.

National Jukebox The National Jukebox makes historical sound recordings available to the public free of charge. Includes recordings from the extraordinary collections of the Library of Congress Packard Campus for Audio Visual Conservation and other contributing libraries and archives. Recordings include music by composers Bach, Chopin, Gershwin, and Berlin. Singers include George Price, the Brox Sisters, Elliott Shaw, and Billy Murray.
