Library Proxy Instructions

These instructions explain what you need to do in order to access ACU network-only library resources from off-campus from a non-ACU internet service provider, such as Clearwire, Cox, CompuServe, Bitstreet or AOL.

If you do not know your ACU assigned username and password, please visit the New Account Information page and fill out the form. This will provide you with the username and password you need to access library resources.

The best way to use the proxy is to pick a database from the Library Homepage or the All Databases page. When accessing the database that has an IP restriction, a login page will come up that looks like the following (use your my.acu username and password to access the database): ( If the following login does not work, follow the directions at the beginning of the paragraph )

ACU Off-campus Library Resources Login

Access to licensed ACU library databases is restricted to ACUfaculty, staff and students.

Log in using your ACU username and password. This is a secure login.

Enter your username and password as if logging into my.acu.edu.

You do not have to log in again until you exit out of the browser you are using or log out of my.acu.edu.
