The Center for Restoration Studies, open from 9am to 5pm Monday thru Friday, is actually a branch of the College of Biblical Studies and under the direction of Dr. Doug Foster , associate Dean of the Graduate School of Theology.
The Center contains materials focusing on the Stone-Campbell Movement, especially the history of the Church of Christ in the United States and the mission work of the Church of Christ throughout the world. Because much of the collection would be classified as old and/or rare, the Center is housed within Special Collections under the supervision and care of the Special Collections staff.
Like Special Collections, materials from the Center will be retrieved by staff and must remain within the reading area. Under certain circumstances, permission may be obtained to check out materials from the Center. This permission is granted by Craig Churchill , the theological librarian.
