'C' Collection
The C Collection serves as the library's main collection of old, rare, or unique books. Included is a collection of Bibles that spans over 700 different languages and/or versions -- including the
World's Largest Bible (Waynai). There are also many old texts from various religious groups, as well as old literary sets and encyclopedia sets. These are old and in very good condition, but too valuable to put out in the main stacks.There is also a collection of older and newer books covering the history of Texas. Important in this collection are several histories from surrounding counties and a mostly-complete set of early Abilene city directories.
