The purpose of the Friends of ACU Library (FACUL) is to promote learning by enhancing the ACU Library in the following ways:

  • Encouraging gifts of service, money and materials.
  • Encouraging use of library resources and services.
  • Providing a forum for sharing an interest in the world of letters.

When you pay your FACUL Membership, you make possible:

  • A strong organization of Friends to help the ACU Library support the mission of the university .
  • Special activities such as honoring "The Friend of the Year."
  • Library purchases of materials and equipment that may otherwise be out of reach.

When you pay your FACUL Membership:

  • You support library activities.
  • You have a free library card (available at the ACU Library circulation desk. Some databases require you to be in the Brown Library).
  • You receive the Friends Newsletter.

Thanks to a donation from an alumnus, the Special Collections at ACU's Center for Restoration Studies now houses two Ethiopian religious texts dating back to the turn of the 19th century.
