We're looking for muscular minds. Over 400 ACU students take Honors Program courses. To them, learning is fun. They don't look for the path of least resistance, they look for the path to excitement and personal growth. A genius IQ is useless without personal drive.

Important Notes for Honors Program Applicants

You cannot enter the Honors Program by just requesting it in your Passport (freshman orientation) application. You must send us the
Honors Program Application
including the
Application Essay
. After we read them and check your scores and grades, we will admit you to the HP.

Corollary: Your request for a fall class schedule will be held up until you finish the Honors Program application process and are accepted.

March 8 is the recommended deadline for students entering in fall. July 15 is the final deadline. Completing your application (with scores, grades, Honors Application Essay) by March 8 will help the Honors Program Advisor and your major department get you the classes you need.
