History and Theology
The Master of Arts in History and Theology is designed to equip students with an advanced academic foundation in theological and historical research and integration. This degree provides a historical framework for understanding events, people, philosophies and theologies within Christian history.
Master of Arts in History and Theology
The Master of Arts in History & Theology (M.A.H.T.) is a research-oriented, 54-hour degree, designed to prepare students for doctoral study or deepen a student's understanding in the area of History or Theology. The program is designed to equip students with an advanced academic foundation in theological and historical research and integration. As such, it teaches students the skills of academic writing and research and involves intensive reading of primary historical and theological works.
Students may select an emphasis in one of two areas: 1) Theology or 2) History. Each area shares common prerequisites and an 18-hour core. Please email gst@acu.edu if you have any questions.
