Distinguished from academic research programs such as the Ph.D. or Th.D., the primary emphasis of the Doctor of Ministry degree is on excellence in the practice of ministry.

Prerequisites
A Master of Divinity degree, or its educational equivalent, from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized regional accrediting agency or by the Assocation of Theological Schools (ATS) is required for admission to the program.
