Experience: Dr. Smith has ministered for churches in Texas, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Missouri. He has participated in and worked with domestic church plants. He has been active in domestic missions consultations with churches, and has given workshops and presentations in numerous churches. He is the Missions Coordinator for North America in the Halbert Institute for Missions (HIM), and the director of the Missionary Residency for North America program (MRNA), where he trains, coaches, and mentors students preparing for work in domestic missions.  He has published articles for the Journal of Applied Missiology and Image.
