- Authored Qualitative Research: A Multi-Methods Approach to Projects for Doctor of Ministry Theses [link 1], currently the only in-print resource specifically designed for D.Min. thesis projects.
- Several essays in the Feasting on the Word and the forthcoming Feasting on the Gospel series published by Westminster John Knox Press.
- Currently working on a homiletical textbook using C.S. Peirce's philosophical pragmatism.
Tim is married to Laura Phelps Sensing, an RN at Hendrick Hospital's prenatal clinic. They have a daughter Leslie who is a CPA in Fort Worth and a son Graham who is a marketing associate in Allen, TX. Before coming to ACU in 1998, Dr. Sensing ministered seventeen years in full-time with congregations in Lexington, SC; Burlington, NC; Washington, IN; Cape May Court House, NJ; and Memphis, TN. On Sundays, you can often find Tim preaching at various small churches around Abilene.
