Research Interests: Old Testament, Biblical languages, distance theological education.
Personal Interests: Reading, knitting, and travel.
Courses Taught: Foundations for the Theology of Ministry, Biblical Theology, Hebrew I and II, Introduction to Christian Scripture.
Recent Work:
- Recently appointed as Director of Instructional Design in the Adams Center for Teaching and Learning.
- Equipping ACU faculty to teach well in a variety of learning environments and helping the campus transition to a new learning management system.
- Working to increase the availability of distance education opportunities in the Graduate School of Theology.
Dr. Thompson joined the GST faculty in August 2011. She and her husband Terry are active members at Highland Church of Christ. In 2012, Dr. Thompson began a shared position between the Graduate School of Theology and as Director of Instructional Design in the Adams Center for Teaching and Learning at ACU.
