Leadership Summit 2013

Learning to focus and see the vision of what you want your life to be like sometimes means taking a journey that involves risk, discovery and challenge.

The Leadership Summit short course is a week-long quest of discovery and examination that helps you listen to and act on God's call to leadership.

Through guest speakers, interactive group activities, guided periods of journaling, and question and answer sessions, we have designed something far more than a course. It’s an expedition that helps you discover how you will lead your life.

You are about to embark on what many have said is the most spiritually significant experience of their lives.

Important Information

  • Leadership Summit 2013 will be held January 2 – 8, 2013
  • You do not need to be a business major to attend
  • No business pre-requisites are required to attend
  • 3 hour course credit is given for BUSA 435 Christian Leadership Perspectives
  • The program fee of $650 covers all food and lodging at Frontier Ranch. Books will also need to be purchased.
  • Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from Frontier Ranch

Location and Transportation

Frontier Ranch is one of the best kept secrets in the Rocky Mountains. The unique combination of breathtaking vistas, wonderful amenities, game room, ropes course, hot springs pool and the treetop swing affectionately named “the Screamer” all make Frontier Ranch the ideal setting for Leadership Summit. Frontier Ranch is 120 miles southwest of Denver and 90 miles west of Colorado Springs. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from Frontier Ranch. If you fly into Colorado Springs, you are responsible for getting to Frontier Ranch. We do not provide a shuttle service.

These influential Christian leaders have an enormous impact at Leadership Summit, serving as inspirational speakers and mentoring through our question an answer sessions. Our speakers have faced the obstacles that are presented when running a business, raising a family, leading in a church or helping communities address problems that seem insurmountable. This is your chance to learn from their experience and gain insight to help you focus your life and prepare for your life’s leadership opportunities.

Application Process

The class has a limited enrollment. Students will be admitted on a first-come basis and must be in good standing with ACU. To apply, print and complete the application below and return it to the COBA Connections office. You may also bring the application to one of the interest meetings.
