The Women in Business organization began in 2007 and is a student led program supported by the women faculty and staff in COBA that focuses on being a woman of God in the workplace, home, and community.
The group meets at least once a week during, what is called, "Break-Out" chapel at ACU. The time together is filled with practical advice for preparing for a career in the marketplace and balancing life at home and work.
Some special events include having guest panelists, women guest speakers, and opportunities to see some of COBA's greatest women alum in their own environment. One special trip was a visit to Cymbidium - "a modern floral design studio and event services company" based in Dallas, TX, and started by COBA's very own Robyn and Rachael Wise.
