Poverty Link is a student organization established in 2007 dedicated to mobilizing students to restore dignity to economically broken communities through sustainable local and international efforts.

The organization aims to set two major foci each semester-- one local and one international-- as well as act as a platform for students to bring ideas or look for volunteers.

During March of 2007, the group traveled to Mexico with Vision Ministries of America and helped begin a food distribution program in Monclova, Mexico. At the beginning of April, Poverty Link hosted a Hunger Banquet to educate students on the needs of people around the world and invested the proceeds in global microenterprise development and local job training.
