"We are thrilled to bring David Halbert to ACU. He is an ACU alum who is leading one of our nation's most prosperous and thriving organizations in the most difficult of times. The Abilene business community will benefit greatly from his wisdom and expertise."
AdvancePCS is the nation's largest independent health improvement company. Under Halbert's direction, the company recently recorded its 14th consecutive year of averaging 138 percent compounded annual revenue growth. During that time, AdvancePCS has earned a reputation in the health care industry for continuous innovation.
Halbert founded AdvancePCS in 1987 and has successfully guided the firm from a small, privately owned company into the largest provider of pharmacy benefit management services in the nation. AdvancePCS serves more than 75 million people - one in every four Americans - and managed 550 million prescription transactions annually.
Halbert is an Abilene native and a 1978 graduate of ACU.
