A management degree will prepare you for a career in organizational management, business process management or human resource management. 

Management majors learn to interact with different kinds of people. Emphasis is on learning about personality types, leadership styles and other key management skills, including decision making, leadership, ethics and quality.

The degree requires 128 hours of college credit with a focus on the fundamentals of management: planning, organizing, leading and controlling.  

The management degree includes a concentration in one of the following areas:

  • Business leadership - the art of mobilizing others to achieve shared aspirations
  • Business process management - working with and managing various systems and processes to create value for customers
  • Human resource management - taking care of people within the organization
  • International business - helping organizations to understand and manage cultural diversity within the organization and global markets
