Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO)

ACU’s Chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) is a student led organization that fosters interest in the field of entrepreneurship. The focus is to inspire, connect, and support students to succeed as entrepreneurs.  CEO offers a variety of extracurricular activities, mentoring relationships, as well as experiential learning through competitions. CEO is the premier global entrepreneurship network serving more than 20,000 students through 400 chapters at colleges and universities.

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)

Students in Free Enterprise is the world's largest collegiate free enterprise organization. SIFE provides leadership training, regional competitions and career opportunity fairs for thousands of college students throughout thirty-one countries. Students have the opportunity to go to regional national and international competitions, where they share what they have done and help spread free enterprise in their community. 

The Griggs Center provides annual grant funds to select SIFE teams whose projects focus on social or non-profit entrepreneurship.

Each spring, the Griggs Center hosts a mini-business plan competition with the goal of providing aspiring entrepreneurs at ACU and in Abilene and the surrounding West Texas region an opportunity to get their business up and running with significant cash and in-kind prizes.
