  • 2009:  Tenaska Gas Powered Plant Economic Impact Study, Tenaska Gas Powered Plant Economic Impact Study, Provide an unbiased, conservative assessment of the potential economic and tax revenue impact of the Tenaska Trailblazer Energy Center (TTEC) on Taylor County and the city of Abilene Texas. Analyze economic data to gauge the secondary impact on the surrounding area of the location of the plant in Sweetwater Texas. Analysis DOES NOT consider the impact of providing effluent water. We plan to make the information available to the City of Abilene and others as appropriate
