All-Level Certification

Do you have a special interest in teaching Spanish, music, theatre, or art? The all-level teacher certification allows you to teach art, music, Spanish, or theatre arts to students from age 3 through grade 12.

While the core academic subjects are crucial for a child's education, these special subjects can provide the bridge for children to find meaning in school. The arts and languages are linked to increased thinking skills, communication skills, and mental flexibility, while physical well-being impacts brain function, social health, and spiritual growth. A student who is struggling academically often will find success in one of these areas. Students who are doing well academically find their learning experience enriched. These areas help to develop a student's entire person - spirit, soul, and body.

All-level certification is available in these areas:

Supplemental Certificates in Education

Students interested in Special Education can certify in all levels (age 3 through grade 12), or a special education supplement can be added to any other certification. The ESL (English as a Second Language) supplement can be added to all middle school, high school and all-level certifications.

For more information on any of these certifications, or for questions concerning transfer credit, AP credit or CLEP credit, contact Francille Vesel, degree plan specialist, at veself@acu.edu or (325) 674-2128.
