There is a difference between the number of course hours that you have taken and the number that you have credit for. |
Developmental Courses (courses numbering 0XX—e.g. MATW 019)
Developmental courses do not count toward fulfilling any requirements for a degree, including total hours required for the degree. However, these courses do count toward the student's grade point average (GPA) and may impact financial aid eligibility.
Transfer Courses
ACU accepts only work equivalent or comparable to work offered at ACU. Transfer courses that are not accepted for credit may still show up in your Degree Evaluation as hours you have taken. The
128 hours required to graduate are credit hours only—they do not include hours that you have taken but that do not count for ACU credit.
To view a list of classes that will transfer to ACU the Texas Common Course Numbering System is a helpful tool. Just choose the "Compare Institutions" option to evaluate the compatibility of your class to an ACU class. To inquire about unlisted classes contact Gretchen Etheredge (right), Admissions Counselor for Degree Completion.
