March is Social Work Month. As part of the month, NASW recognizes outstanding professional social workers, students, and allies. ACU will be well-represented in this year's regional celebration.
Dr. Tom Winter has been recognized as Social Worker of the Year for his outstanding support of our new School of Social Work, as well as for the MSSW program.
Most exciting is the Social Work Student of the Year Award. Four of our students have been recognized for their efforts in bringing Fair Trade certified coffee awareness to this campus. They are Candace Williams, Jordan Wesley, Marcie Martinez and Anna Radomsky.
