Dr. Tanya Smith Brice has been appointed to the National Association of Social Workers' Committee on Women's Issues.  She was appointed by Elvira Craig deSilva, president of NASW, the largest organization representing social workers. The primary responsibility of this committee is to oversee national policies, specifically legislative issues, that affect women's issues. This is a three year appointment.
