Children's Hope International recently named Jennifer Meredith (social work class of '96) as their new Texas Director.
For the past year, Jennifer has worked with Children's Hope in Houston as a contract social worker.
She says, "Service to others in Christ's name is an important part of my life. I love working for an agency with Christ as its focus."
Meredith has her LCSW and has most recently been working with families and victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and violent crimes. She also has experience in adoption home studies, training, program development, foster care, individual/family/group counseling, community services, bereavement counseling and medical social work. She worked for 5 month in African orphanages and has also participated in mission trips to Mexico and Honduras.
Children's Hope says they are "confident that the families in Texas will enjoy working with Jennifer and that it will be a smooth transition."
Jennifer is married with two children. Her husband has worked as a youth minister and is currently studying law.
