Dr. Brice appointed as MSSW Program Director

Dr. Tanya Brice has been appointed as Director of the MSSW Program effective June 1, 2008.  Dr. Brice joined the ACU faculty in August, 2006, as an associate professor. She had previously taught at the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Brice will join an administrative team made up of Dr. Paul Ammons, Director of the School, Professor Bill Culp, Assistant Director of the School, and Professor Susan Clark, Director of the BSSW program.

In announcing the change, Ammons said, "I have served in the dual role of director of the school and the MSSW program for the past two years. I did not believe it was fair to ask anyone to step into the role of MSSW director while the program was being developed. Now that the program is established and has been admitted to candidacy by the Council on Social Work Education, the timing seems right to ask Dr. Brice assume this important position."
