Abilene had its own Big Give on Sunday, April 13, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre. Inspired by the television show, Oprah's Big Give, Abilene's Big Give will assist children and families being served by Child Protective Services in the Abilene area.
Participants brought new donated item(s) that could benefit any aged child. CPS works with many children ranging from newborn to young adults, children in foster care and those still placed with families but who still need assistance.
