Dr. Paul Ammons, Professor and Director of
the ACU School of Social Work, was recently named Professor Emeritus by
the University of Georgia in recognition of of his "honorable" and "distinguished
service" to the university. Ammons was a member of the faculty at the University of Georgia for thirty
years, during which time he held several administrative posts prior to retiring in
2006 and moving to ACU to plan and develop the new graduate program in social
work.
