Chase Jordan ('13) | Pre-Physical Therapy
Exercise science/pre-physical therapy
major from Mansfield, Texas
Chase Jordan remembers making the trip to Abilene as a young child with his parents, who were returning to their alma mater to visit old college friends.
I definitely feel like my transfer to ACU was the right decision. Being here has helped me understand who I want to be as a professional, while staying true to my faith and walk in Christ.
He initially enrolled at a small school in Nebraska, but soon realized that was not the place for him. So he followed in his parent's footsteps - a second-generation Wildcat.
"I had always liked ACU, and both of my parents graduated from here," Chase says. "So from a combination of my like for ACU and their wanting me to come here, I decided to enroll."
As a sophomore pre-physical therapy major, Chase is right at home in his parent's old stomping grounds. He works at Academy and is an avid athlete on his intramural team, the Wombats.
The education he has received at Abilene Christian has met and exceeded his expectations. In addition to his education, Chase believes the environment has allowed him to foster friendships he will carry for the rest of his life.
"The teachers really work and take interest in each student, making sure they get the education they desire," Chase says.
The decision to build on his parent’s purple-and-white heritage has been everything he could have asked for.
"I definitely feel like my transfer to ACU was the right decision," he says. "Being here has helped me understand who I want to be as a professional, while staying true to my faith and walk in Christ."
