"I am attending ACU because I believe that one's commitment to faith should be integrated into all aspects of life--including education. I chose to attend ACU because I felt that ACU would help me to mature spiritually and to apply my commitment to faith and God towards my career."
"My commitment to being an Education major and to teaching as a profession is one that I have possessed for a number of years....Watching my dad work as an educator and administrator has shown me the importance teachers and educational figures are to the community. Ever since I was little, I have dreamed of becoming a teacher so that I, too, might help my community."
"I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Education department at ACU because both the faculty and staff are wonderful and very caring. Theyconstantly portray their Christian love through their actions and words and I know that I can always count on them to help me if I am ever in need."
"My experiences within my education classes have been very beneficial and enlightening for a prospective teacher. What I like most about them is that the professors are not afraid to tell the class that teaching is not for everyone and that being an educator is hard work. I have also enjoyed my education classes because they allow us to experience teaching through observational work, tutoring, and lectures given by previous or current educators. Overall, due to the exceptional examples of the faculty and staff within ACU's Education department and my education classes, I know that I am going to be a competent, loving, understanding, and Christian educator to my future students."
