"My undergraduate degree is in accounting. After working in that field for four years, I earned my certification and began teaching special education students. Three years later, I earned my math certification and now teach Algebra I and II at Wylie High School. This is my 15th year in teaching. I am working on my master's degree so that I can continue to learn and help children in different ways in the school system."

"My graduate classes have been very interesting. They have renewed my interest in teaching and my desire to help students be successful. I love hearing life experiences from Dr. Goldsmith and the other professors. Hearing how they solve different situations helps me to know the thought processes I will have to go through someday."
