ACU's partnership with a local elementary school brings big dividends for teachers, students and teachers-to-be. The Professional Development School program prepares ACU students going into teaching, helps the teacher already on the job, and sharpens the reading skills of local students.

"I can honestly say that I have the job of my dreams," says Shannon, who is now teaching first grade at Kigali International Community School in Rwanda. Shannon credits ACU with giving her the preparation she needs to be a first-rate teacher, no matter where.

grow in education  experience learning  shape lives

At ACU, you'll be a part of a teacher education program that will empower you to grow in education, experience learning and shape lives while walking in your faith.

Upon graduation, you'll be ready to meet the challenges and opportunities in the field of education, doing it in the context of Christian values and principles. And most likely, you'll pass the TexEs certification test the first time - our pass rate on all three of the TexEs certification exams is 100 percent.

See the difference. Feel the difference. Learn how to be the difference in the classroom and how to make a difference in your students' lives. All at ACU.
