The Voice Institute of West Texas laboratory is located in the facilities of the Center for Speech and Language Disorders on the campus of Abilene Christian University. It serves the fine arts community by cultivating singing and vocal pedagogy. The health professions are assisted by the providing of diagnostic and clinical research studies in patients with a wide variety of medical conditions, from cancer to vocal paralysis. Higher education is served by providing observation, clinical practice, diagnostic experience, and research opportunities for students of voice and speech-language pathology.
