Careers in CSD
Students completing the BS program in CSD can work in the following settings:
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in public schools (requires state licensure)
- Activities director in a long-term care center or assisted living center
- Child development centers
- Senior citizen recreation programming
- Teacher’s aide in special education classrooms
- Any job where a college degree is required
Students completing the MS program in SLP can work in the following settings:
- Schools (public or private)
- Hospitals (acute and rehab areas)
- Out-patient clinics
- Home health
- Early childhood intervention programs
- Part-time or full-time hours
- Pediatrics or adults (or both)
