Dr. Smith has ministered for churches in Texas, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Missouri. He has participated in and worked with domestic church plants. He has been active in domestic missions consultations with churches, and has given workshops and presentations in several churches. He is the Missions Coordinator for North America and works with students interested in domestic missions.  He has published articles for the Journal of Applied Missiology and Image.
