Edward Robinson serves in a dual capacity in both the History and the Biblical Studies departments. He teaches general education Bible classes. He graduated from Southwestern Christian College with a bachelor's degree in 1989. He received from Harding University an M.A.R. in 1991 and an M.Div. in 1993. He completed his M.A. from the University of Illinois in 1998 and his Ph.D. from Mississippi State University in 2003.
He is the author of five books, including To Save My Race from Abuse: The Life of Samuel Robert Cassius (University of Alabama Press, 2007) and Show Us How You Do it: Marshall Keeble and the Rise of Black Churches of Christ in the United States, 1914-1968 (University of Alabama Press, 2008).
Edward has preached since 1984 in Texas, Mississippi, Illinois and New Mexico. Edward and his wife, Toni, have three children: Clarice, Ashley and Erika.
