Victor McCracken
Vic McCracken is Assistant Professor of Theology and Ethics in the Department of Bible, Missions and Ministry and the Honors College. His areas of interest include theological and philosophical ethics, theology and popular culture, and religion in American public life. Currently, Vic is studying the intersection of Christian faith and the ethics of patriotism.Vic received his Ph.D. in Ethics and Society from Emory University (2008). He received his M.Div. from ACU (1999) and his B.A. from Harding University (1995). He is a member of the Society of Christian Ethics. Prior to returning to the academy, Vic served as Adult Discipleship Minister at the Oak Hills Church of Christ in San Antonio, TX.
He is married to Tara. They have three children--Theophilus, Naomi, and Gabriel--and two dogs--Berkeley and Jo Jo.
