Randy Harris has degrees from Harding University, Harding Graduate School of Religion and Syracuse University. He teaches freshmen Bible majors and courses in theology, philosophy and preaching. He received a certificate in Christian Spiritual Guidance from the Shalem Institute, and he has participated in Trappist, Carmalite, Ignatian, Franciscan and Celtic communities in his study of contemplative prayer and mysticism.
He is currently learning to play the hammer dulcimer, has a pug dog, plays chess (badly) and enjoys post-rock music.
