Gary teaches general education Bible classes and coordinates the global summer missions internship program “In His Steps”. Gary earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwest Louisiana University in 1983 and his Doctor of Veterinary medicine degree from Louisiana State University in 1987.

After practicing veterinary medicine for two years, he returned to study and graduated from the Harding Graduate School of religion in 1993. He then served as a missionary to Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela for eight years.

Gary and his wife, Frances, have four children: Travis, Jacob, Jessica and Lucas.
