Why: The mission of the Youth and Family Ministry degree is to prepare and equip students to
minister to adolescents and families in a church setting.
Who: Students who are interested in leading youth groups or serving families through church ministry positions.
What: Degree Objectives
- Gain a solid theological foundation in the Bible, both Old and New Testaments.
- Study the principles of the New Testament and how those are applied to daily life and ministry.
- Learn the history of the church universal and the Restoration Movement, seeking to understand the impact of that heritage on church today.
- Receive both theoretical instruction and practical training in ministry through a variety of classes, especially classes pertaining to youth ministry, and an internship with a youth group.
