Why: The mission of the Biblical Text degree is to prepare and develop ministers and scholars who are articulate, enthusiastic and well-informed about the message, context and application of the Old and New Testaments.
Who: Students with a strong scholarly bent and an interest in theology, who intend to pursue graduate studies and/or preach.
What: Degree Objectives
- Gain a solid theological foundation in the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, and a thorough understanding of New Testament Greek.
- Study the principles of the New Testament and how those are applied to daily life and ministry.
- Learn the history of the church universal and the Restoration Movement, seeking to understand the impact of that heritage on church today.
- Receive both theoretical instruction and practical training in ministry.
