Dr. Sensing received his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, focusing on the pedagogy of preaching from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro in 1998.
He oversees the internship program. Also he is the book review editor for Restoration Quarterly, and the editor of eConnections, the newsletter for the College of Biblical Studies.
His teaching and research interests focus on homiletics and ministerial education. You can read some of his published materials in several journals including seven articles in Restoration Quarterly. He also abstracts journals for Religious Theological Abstracts. Before coming to ACU in 1998, Dr. Sensing ministered full-time with congregations in Lexington, SC; Burlington, NC; Washington, IN; Cape May Court House, NJ; and Memphis, TN.
