The mission of the Department of Bible, Missions and Ministry is to provide preparation for congregational leadership through biblical and theological studies and Christian spiritual formation for effective worldwide ministry in the cause of Christ.
The Department of Bible, Missions and Ministry serves approximately 275 departmental majors.
As a nationally recognized Christian university, our mission is to educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world. We integrate faith and learning throughout the curriculum, reflecting the theological perspective of the broad mainstream of Churches of Christ.
Scholars? Theologians? Missionaries? Ministers? Yes.
Mentors? Always.
But don't take our word for it. Listen to our students:

I chose the ACU Bible program not only because of its theological depth, but also because of the close relationships with professors and fellow students which form me more in the image of my Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. |
|
The ACU Department of Bible, Missions and Ministry makes a habit of picking professors based on the ministry the professors do, not the ministry they teach. |
"I looked at a lot of different schools and their Bible departments, and what I really wanted to find was a faculty that loved God more than they loved their job, a faculty that would teach me a love of God and something that will last. I think I found a faculty like that." - Jeff Patty |
