History:
The church in Salvador is a plant of a missionary team of five families who arrived in 2005. their inaugural service took place in April 2006. The church attendance is about 50 per week. They are located in the heart of the city and they work to evangelize the neighborhoods around where they work and live. Their weeks are filled with two small groups in formation, weekly youth group meetings, regular evangelistic Bible studies, and weekly English classes. 

Intern Goals:

  • Develop ministry skills
  • Grow spiritually
  • Participate in small groups
  • Interact with Brazilians outside of church
  • Engage in specific ministry
