Dano, Burkina Faso

History:

     The Dagara team arrived in Burkina Faso in the fall of 2002. The focus of the work is the establishment of a lasting people movement among the Dagara people, an animistic tribe in the southwest region of Burkina Faso. Since the summer of 2004 there have been several congregations meeting as a result of preaching in various villages.

Intern goals:

• Participate in church planting and leadership training.
• Language learning.
• VBS for the West African Missionary Retreat.
• Survey trip to a potential mission site for a future team.
• Optional cultural research.
